AED Prep Kit

DfE guidance states every defibrillator should be kept with a number of accessories/consumables to ensure that it is always ready for use.

This AED Prep Kit comprises of essential products to assist the rescuer in emergencies

• Contains the basic items typically required for an AED emergency
• Supplied in a black zipped bag with a belt loop, clearly labelled with "AED Prep Kit" in white text
• Scissors will enable rescuers to cut away a casualty’s clothing if required
• Protective gloves will keep rescuers safe against infection
• Hand towels can be used to ensure the casualty has a dry chest so that the Defibrillator pads are able to adhere properly to individual’s chest
• Disposable razor can help remove excessive amounts of chest hair where the electrodes are to be applied
• Resuscitation device may be used to guard against infection while administering rescue breaths
